David-Muir
David Muir is an American journalist and anchor best known for his ABC news program World News Tonight with David Muir as well as for the ABC News magazine 20/20 for which he is an anchor and co-anchor. His show with its dramatic videos, celebrity news as well as his animated movements has grown to become the most watched newscast in America. In addition, he has the Emmy-nominated show Made In America. He was the chief anchor in the interim of his predecessor Diane Sawyer before taking over ABC World News Tonight. He's reported on a variety of primetime specials for ABC News some recent ones include Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint Refugees in America. He has traveled around the globe, reporting on news from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. He has received numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards in addition to honours and prizes from the Associated Press.
